I’ve picked three albums –
1) Duke Ellington “This is Duke Ellington and His Orchestra” 1949
RCA Victor – Original 10” LP.
This vinyl is 71 years old and has lots of ticks and pops, but I still love it.
2) Irene Kral and Alan Broadbent “Where is Love?” 1975
Choice Records
One of my all time favorite duo recordings, both artists are sublime here.
3) Oscar Peterson and Ben Webster “During This Time” Released in 2014
Recorded live in 1972 ; Jazz Workshop in Studio II, Hannover
(Only 1000 copies were pressed worldwide)
